'Where can we go today?' Well here are a whole host of places for you to explore and learn about the Isle of Anglesey. Of course being an island, Anglesey has an amazing number of beaches, rocky coves and long sandy bays to suit everyone, set within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Also forests, woods and gorgeous country parks to discover.
With a rich and varied history there are some great places to visit, such as Menai Heritage Centre, telling the tales of our two famous bridges, Beaumaris Castle, built by Edward I, Plas Newydd - a magnificent National Trust property with a spectacular painting by Rex Whistler, and relaxing gardens to enjoy and the Oriel in Llangefni, with galleries showcasing the best of local artists and local history. No two days will ever be the same because there is so much to see and do in Anglesey.
